Photography Skills Create Work Through College
Trevor took the GHS ROP Digital Photo class because his older brother went through the course and really enjoyed it. He wanted to learn all the fun things and experience the class for himself.
While Trevor was in the class, he learned many things including the major workings parts of the DSLR camera (ISO, Shutter Speed, and F-stop). Additionally, he learned elements and principles of art, rules of thirds, composition and related software to modify his artistic creations. He also learned valuable skills such as proper communication, business, ethics and responsibility.
Trevor is still doing photography but has moved to La Jolla and is studying Engineering at San Diego University. Trevor said, “I've been applying my photography and computer skills to a handful of multimedia projects for communities I’m involved in. I’m looking into potential positions at the newspaper and as an event photographer for student clubs."
