Graphic Designer at Innovative Design Firm

Student Background

AC was a GATE student who excelled in art and math. He decided he wanted to pursue a career in architecture.

Program Description

In high school he took ROP Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Architectural Design. As a part of his class experience, he was placed in an internship with an interior designer. The designer required AC to use 3D software to show designs.

Outcomes

At the age of 22, AC was hired as a designer by an innovative design firm in San Francisco, with a competitive salary and full benefits. “My degree did not get me the job; my portfolio got me the job. It all started with what I learned in my ROP classes”.
