ROP Fashion Design Student Goes to FIDM

Student Background

As a senior from Whitney High School, Austin Wittick's goal was to pursue a career in costume design and work in the film industry.

Program Description

Austin completed his Fashion Design and History ROP course and interned at Camelot Costume in Loomis. At his training site, Austin redesigned costumes and used his creative skills to create costumes for customers and community events.

Outcomes

As a certificated program completer, Austin was awarded a $1000 scholarship to continue his education at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. He often returns to ROP to share his newest designs with students.
