Young Artist Explores New Methods
From a very young age, Angela saw art as something fun to do that would make her parents smile. As her passion grew, she began to realize the potential her work had to influence much more beyond her family. Sketching and painting were what she knew best, but upon entering high school, she was interested in exploring a different medium.
Angela enrolled into two art classes through ROP. Her first class, Visual Imagery, required Angela to use a camera to display her visions. In the second class, Computer Graphics, her only palette was a computer screen. Through these courses, she quickly realized that art was truly limitless and "a picture is worth a thousand words."
After high school, Angela went to Westmont College as a declared art major. She credits ROP with introducing her to the digital side of art. Her experiences with digital art keep her connected to modern art as she continues her education by studying art in college.
