CAROCP: THE ASSOCIATION OF CAREER AND COLLEGE READINESS ORGANIZATIONS

Supporting School Districts Statewide

Through the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP), California school districts are responsible for identifying strategies and activities that align with eight key priorities which fall into one of three broad categories noted below including Conditions of Learning; Pupil Outcomes; and Engagement.

California’s college and career readiness organizations partner with their local district(s) to support them in achieving these priorities and will increase services where possible to assist districts in meeting the needs of unduplicated pupils and improve the performance of all pupils in the eight priority areas.

Learn more about how California’s college and career readiness organizations are currently working with their local districts and/or how career technical education programs support and the eight priorities areas for local control accountability.

We promote and support the regional delivery of exemplary career education, career development, and workforce preparation that contribute to student academic and career success and to the economic development of California.
